Porn Detection Stick

Paraben Forensics has come up with the Porn Detection Stick, a USB thumb drive which helps (I’m guessing suspicious spouses) snoop out pornographic images on your computer.

The stick searches all the images on a Windows-based PC, scans them for pornographic content, and then creates a report of any images thought to be questionable. It reportedly uses advanced image analyzing algorithms that can classify images as potentially harmful by identifying things like facial features, flesh tones, image backgrounds, body part shapes, and more.

The company claims it also has a less than 1% false-positive rate. But you’ll have to wait a bit for the results. A search of a 500GB hard drive with 70,000+ images takes about 1.5hrs. Even if you delete images from your hard drive, the stick can sniff those out too, but it doesn’t work on video.

The item retails for $99.99 and you can pick one up directly from the Paraben site.
